The system is used for automating the filling of a water tank by a water pump situated several kilometres away.
The great advantage of using a PT620 lies in that commands from the tank to the pump are wirelessly emitted, thereby significantly reducing the cost of installation.
The system is used for automating the filling of a water tank by a water pump situated several kilometres away. It consists of two main components, a transmitter installed in the tank and a receiver installed in the pump's electrical panel.
The transmitter monitors the level of the water tank and accordingly emits START or STOP messages to the receiver. This eliminates the need for constant monitoring of the tank level by the user.
The great advantage of using a PT620 lies in that commands from the tank to the pump are wirelessly emitted, thereby significantly reducing the cost of installation.
The range of the system exceeds 10km depending on propagation conditions (within line of sight).
The commands are emitted fully encoded to ensure security.
The system is also available for control of two, three or four pumps from a single tank. (ΡΤ620D, PT620T & PT620Q). Also available as PT620F, when tank level motitoring is done with a float-switch.
