THREE PHASE ASYMMETRY AND SEQUENCE CONTROL RELAY WITH ADJUSTABLE TRIP TIME

The device is used for protection of three-phase asynchronous motors from electrical power supply disturbances. It is typically employed in submersible pump protection systems.

The device is used for protection of three-phase asynchronous motors from electrical power supply disturbances. It is typically employed in submersible pump protection systems. It provides protection against absence of one or more of the three phases or the neutral, asymmetry (adjustable, 5-20%), incorrect connection sequence, overvoltage and undervoltage. It allows an adjustable Trip Time (5-30sec) for the asymmetry failure.

Neutral connection is required.

It is installed in an electrical panel on a standard relay socket. The output relay is activated when the three phases of the power supply do not differ between them in percentage more than the user adjustable value, do not exceed 270VAC (phase voltage) and are also connected in the correct sequence. In any other case , as well as in case of complete loss of a phase (phase voltage under 130VAC), the relay is deactivated.

It is a digital device using a microcontroller.
